  • Yes, we do! Our support workers use their own vehicles, which are regularly checked by our management team to ensure they meet all safety and insurance requirements.

We’re confident in using our vehicles to support you safely, and we’re also happy to help you explore other transport options if you prefer.

  • The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government-funded program that supports Australians with a disability.

It gives people more choice and control over the supports they receive, helping them work towards their goals and live more independently.

Through the NDIS, you can access funding for things like personal care, community access, therapies, and other supports you may need.

  • It’s My Life is currently in the process of becoming a registered provider with the NDIS. We’re working hard to complete all requirements so we can offer you the best possible support.

In the meantime, we still follow all the standards expected of registered providers.

All our support workers have valid NDIS Worker Screening Checks, follow the NDIS Code of Conduct, and have completed required training, including:

    • NDIS Worker Orientation Module: Quality, Safety and You

    • COVID-19 infection control training

    • Medication management

    • Manual handling

    • First aid

You can feel confident knowing that your supports are delivered by qualified, safe, and reliable workers.

  • After each completed shift, It’s My Life (IML) will pay your support worker and issue an invoice for the service.

If you are Self-Managed: We will email the invoice directly to the nominated email provided.

If you are Plan-Managed: The invoice will be sent to your plan manager, who will process the payment on your behalf.

If you are NDIA-Managed: Once IML becomes a registered NDIS provider, we’ll be able to support NDIA-managed participants. At that stage, invoices will be processed and paid through the NDIS participant portal.
